Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

Image
For the location we were contemplating for about 30 minutes where an ideal location would be. We determined that considering our pitch, it would be wise for us to film at a park or in a common neighborhood. We decided that our first filming location would be North Andrews Park. It has the typical scenery that we are looking for. It is not a very busy place, and there are parks and roads where we can film. Image
The opening sequence for this movie was found on artofthetitle.com. In the opening sequence of the film Parasite, there are many titles shown. About 12 titles are displayed in total. Each of the titles display the name of the actors, the production company and everyone that participated in the production of the movie. The images that are prioritized are the dirty windows and the socks that are hanging. In the sequence, the camera tilts down, onto one of the main character's as he is attempting to connect to the Wi-Fi, somewhat desperately or hurriedly. This is one of the only instances of connotations in the sequence. The outset is a little hard to understand, as the audience. Moreover, you question why we the audience are seeing a dirty window and walls, along with socks hanging, or why the main character is desperately attempting to connect to the Wi-Fi. I don't believe any extraordinary techniques were used to hook the audience through the opening sequence. Technology was ef...
