Finally Filming
Finally, the day came where I could alongside with my group. After postponing the dates twice, and anxiously trying to start filming it was able to happen on Saturday. Which took place on 2/17/23 from 11 am to 1 pm. I made sure everything worked out on my end, and to assist to my fullest capacity. My other group member, Teo, needed a ride that day and I was able to pick him up to go film. As my parents weren't driving that day and I could drive the car. I also brought props such as a pull up bar which would be used for one of the scenes, and my long board. Though the pull up bar wasn't used, the long board was used as a step for my group member Corvelest. Which was incorporated in the beginning scene when the antagonist knocks on the door of the protagonist character in the film. To keep the longboard still and not moving, I went across the street to this abandoned house that has a slim piece of brick. Which I used to slide under the wheel and suspension of the long board keeping it perfectly still. Aside from the pull-up bar, I typed out the script last minute on Corvelest's laptop on a Word document. I only finished the beginning to pre-climax scene which took about 2 pages. I must say the minute I entered Corvelest's house to film, I was astounded by the overall scenery. The house's lighting is pretty dim, which I found would be perfect capture those suspense and eerie shots and scenes. I assumed the role of camera man and screenwriter that day. It was a good experience, it felt good to film again. To film, I used Corvelest's phone, since it was an iPhone 15 it was advanced than my phone which happens to be an iPhone 12. Also a tripod that Corvelest lent to me was used to ensure the best quality film. The tripod I used that day I've used on past projects, so it felt natural working with it. Below though the image quality isn't the best, you can see me sitting on the left couch working on the script.
