Production Blog: First Day of Planning

Throughout the class period I had available, I alongside with Corey started to finalize the storyboard. It took a while to finish as Corey decided to overachieve and draw 5 storyboards, but I was able to finish describing each scene he drew. I was able to start planning for a potential day for me, Cailey, Corey, and Chelsey to film. So far according to Corey it looks like he will not be able to film during the entire spring break. Which is unfortunate, since during break there will be 10 days of no school. Meaning I have to start filming this weekend, or the weekend after spring break. Which sucks because one day will not be enough to film, and there is not "much" time left. The roles have already been established in terms of actors, editor, cameraman, etc. I will be the actor of the antagonist character, while Chelsey, Cailey, and Corey will act as the protagonist characters. In the scenes, where I am not filmed, I will assume the position of cameraman. As this was the case in the last two projects done in this class. Although there is still some debate regarding a proper filming site, Chelsey's neighborhood has been disputed, due to a few reasons. Firstly, because she lives in somewhat in the middle of me, Corey, and Cailey. Secondly, because her neighborhood and the streets that surround it look like a typical neighborhood, and a typical place where someone would drive. Which is what the first scene will be. The second alternative location where we would film would be Corey's neighborhood. Because his neighborhood as well, looks like a typical neighborhood. The street where he lives is also wide enough for us to be able to film him driving. In terms of the car he will be "driving", he volunteered to drive his mother's car, which is an SUV.
