Group Blog 2023

     In my group, I decided that I would work with three people. They would be people I've already known for quite some time. That are not lazy and very productive people. I am working with my friends Corey, Chelsey, and Cailey. The three of whom I met last year. I met Corey in my biology class Chelsey, I met in my math class. Cailey I met through mutual friends. I started to maintain better contact with her throughout the last month. I am working with Corey because he is very passionate about film and film editing. After school some days he'll spend hours working on editing a clip from a show or movie. He has a very artistic and creative perspective on things which is why I decided to work with him. He doesn't procrastinate, and on average finishes his film projects in a day or two at the most. Moreover, I decided to work with Chelsey because she is an overall hard worker. She is a very smart individual in the many classes that I have with her. There have been times where me and her were assigned group assignments or experiments. She never slacked, and always finished her tasks promptly when given. She is a reliable person which is why I'm working with her. Finally, I am working with Cailey, because she had no one else to work with, and offered for her to join me, Corey, and Chelsey. This is somewhat irrelevant, but I enjoy the fact that our group is diverse, ethnically and culturally. Since everyone in the group happens to be of different nationalities.

Filming Blog: The Entire Group Filming

 Finally, after much time and planning, the entre group was able to film. I was going to film the group originally on Thursday. But found out that, it wouldn't work for Corey. So, Friday afternoon was the agreed date to film. The filming session lasted from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The entire filming session took place at Corey's house. While his mother was partially supervising us. The amount of film needed to finish the project was filmed that day. Throughout the filming session, not many difficulties were encountered on my part. Some of the scenes that were filmed were Corey driving alone. Then Corey and Cailey in the car driving and socializing. Furthermore, them "picking" Chelsey up. Finally, them running me over, and the ending scene. Something that was filmed that was not scripted was the ending scene.
