Production Blog: No Filming Progress So Far

 So far in these last two weeks, I have gotten zero progress done in terms of filming. I tried to get together with my group over Thanksgiving break, but one of the members was unable to, because he was working out of town. I tried to get to together with my group these last two weekends after thanksgiving break, but unfortunately that was unsuccessful too. During the last week and a half, I've been planning with them a date and location that would be suitable for us. I proposed that we could film either at my house or Corey's house, as Chelsey's house is not a suitable option according to her. I'm hoping that this coming weekend would work, or as soon as possible. I will most likely start filming on Sunday, as this is the day that my group members are also available. Due to this music video project being a lengthier project, and due to me being the cameraman, filming this will take a couple hours to ensure the best quality of film possible. My plan is, on Sunday, hopefully is to start filming either in the morning or the early afternoon. I will bring snacks and drinks and whatnot, to help me and my group stay focused during the filming session. I'm also planning that during our filming session, we film for about 1-2 hours. Then we take a 30 minute break, just to recharge and not get physically overwhelmed. Hopefully I will be able to film all the scenes that we planned on our storyboard. Also, to get in at least 1 minute and 20 seconds of film, and at maximum 2-3 minutes of filmed done with. I normally go to church on Sundays, in the morning from 10:00 until 12:30ish, but I'm currently debating about whether I should miss it or not. I'm thinking about if church would hinder my ability to incorporate enough filming time that is needed. Also I'm considering the fact that Sunday is one of the only days I'm available to film. Which is why I am trying to get everything filming wise done with. I will finalize my decision on Thursday, December 8th, pertaining to whether Sunday morning or afternoon would be an appropriate filming date and time. Which is when I have this class next time.

 Originally, the plan was to start filming after spring break. However, I found out through Corey that he will be leaving for his Europe trip on Saturday. There is no school on Friday, meaning we could get some filming done that day. There is a scene where just Corey is filmed driving the car to go pick up Chelsey and Cailey. This is the scene I intend on filming Corey this Friday. The plan is, I will slide to his neighborhood early in the morning, while my dad is doing a quick construction job. During that period of time, I will film Corey leaving his house driving his mother's SUV. For about a minute I will film Corey just driving. Production Blog: Filming Progress

      As stated in the previous blog, I was able to get some filming progress done with Corey on Friday, the first day of our spring break. Due to Cailey and Chelsey not being present, I only filmed his part. Which consisted of him driving his car, on the way to pick up Cailey and Chelsey. It was done relatively early in the morning, which is shown as the sun appears to be rising in most of the footage. Even though I am content that a little bit of progress was done. It is my goal to start filming this week, as I am heavily opposed to procrastination. Much discussion was done today with Corey, Chelsey, and Cailey. It seems that all 3 of them, as well as myself, will be available on Saturday to film. Production Blog: Not Able to Film

     After the first filming session where I filmed Corey, I decided that I would need another day or two to film Corey again. This time however, Chelsey would be a part of the filming process. As she was not able to be present the last time I filmed. I discussed with Corey and Chelsey what days work for them, a few days ago. Chelsey stated that she would be available and Wednesday and Thursday. Corey stated that from Monday through Thursday he would be available. We had previously planned to film again today, Wednesday, December 14th. However, I just finished telling them that Wednesday would not work for me. Due to the fact that I have after-school tutoring for chemistry. I have a chemistry test tomorrow, that I am partially prepared for, and I'm trying to be completely prepared.
