Production Blog: Filming Pt. 2
During our first shoot which was on October 8, we were not able to film with Chelsey. So therefore, I was in charge of filming, so basically I was the cameraman. I also handled props and other equipment. Corey was the actor for the first shoot, which was the 15 seconds of the commercial. Reason that Chelsey was not able to film that day was because she had family emergencies that day to tend to. However, Chelsey and Corey were able to shoot together on Wednesday, October 12. On the 12th they shot the last 15 seconds of the commercial, during the afternoon. I unfortunately was not able to be present for that shoot. Reason being I was very occupied with homework, and I had church on Wednesday night. For the shoot on the 12th Corey assumed the role of director and cameraman. Also he was the one handling most of the props. He brought his Beats Headphones, the phone and tripod all used to film. Chelsey was the actress for the shoot that day. They both also filmed at Holiday Park, but at a different part of the park. They found a section of the park not too far from where Corey and I had filmed. Which was idealistic because it was fairly open and they could put their bags down and see where they were. Because we wanted for there to be a change in scenery, and diversify the commercial a little bit. That day the forecast was not overcast as was the day Corey and I did the shoot. It did bring the probability of rain which was another obstacle that they could be relieved off. During the shoot one thing that Corey insisted on was filming more shots of Chelsey pressing the 'b' button on the side of the headphones while filming. The second part of the commercial that they shot, took about 30-40 minutes.
