Props:

·         The main prop that will be used is Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones, which is what the commercial is centralized on.

Costumes:

Our commercial will feature 2 people from our group. The actors will wear basic clothing, with plain colors. It will not be anything too flashy or bold, just basic everyday clothing like hoodies or jacket, a shirt, jeans or pants, or shorts. Any shoe can be used, except for slides or sandals. Also, we are avoiding brand shirts or pants during the shoot.

Schedule:

·         On 9/30/22 - We decided on our prop, the Beats headphones, and we researched the product, and commercials pertaining to the headphones. We also decided on two potential locations, costumes, and a backup plan. 

·                        

·         On 10/4/22 - We set up our schedule, set the dates, etc. 

·         On 10/5/22 - We are finalized the story board, and adding some finishing touches. 

·         On 10/8/22 / 10/9/22 - within these two days will record and shoot our commercial, we will optimize a variety of angles and movements. We hope to spend 30 minutes to 1 hour at the most, for the first 15 seconds. 


·         On 10/9/22 - 10/13/22, our group will edit and final touches touches to the commercial, and take notes of the different sounds and editing techniques we use.

Location List:

Our prime location will be downtown Fort Lauderdale at Holiday Park or near the Las Olas area. When we shoot in this area, I will film my group member Corey putting on his headphones, then playin a song with them on. He will then proceed to walk around the park with the headphones on, as most people, as I film.

Backup Location/Plan:

If filming in Las Olas does not work, nor Holiday Park, our backup location will be Pompano Beach. More specifically, the pier at the beach, and the local parks at the beach. The start of our commercial might have to be altered, if we do end up filming in Pompano Beach. If in the case, the cameraman/camerawoman is absent, and not able to shoot, one of the actors, would assume the cameraman/camerawoman position.

 Originally, the plan was to start filming after spring break. However, I found out through Corey that he will be leaving for his Europe trip on Saturday. There is no school on Friday, meaning we could get some filming done that day. There is a scene where just Corey is filmed driving the car to go pick up Chelsey and Cailey. This is the scene I intend on filming Corey this Friday. The plan is, I will slide to his neighborhood early in the morning, while my dad is doing a quick construction job. During that period of time, I will film Corey leaving his house driving his mother's SUV. For about a minute I will film Corey just driving. Then I will film another scene of him driving and listening to some music. Corey is just going to drive around his neighborhood, if necessary, once or twice, onto a commercial street. Production Blog: Filming Progress

      As stated in the previous blog, I was able to get some filming progress done with Corey on Friday, the first day of our spring break. Due to Cailey and Chelsey not being present, I only filmed his part. Which consisted of him driving his car, on the way to pick up Cailey and Chelsey. It was done relatively early in the morning, which is shown as the sun appears to be rising in most of the footage. Even though I am content that a little bit of progress was done. It is my goal to start filming this week, as I am heavily opposed to procrastination. Much discussion was done today with Corey, Chelsey, and Cailey. It seems that all 3 of them, as well as myself, will be available on Saturday to film. A specific time has not been established, but it seems that the filming will be done in the early morning to early afternoon. Right before lunch time, most of the filming for that day should be done. Production Blog: Not Able to Film

     After the first filming session where I filmed Corey, I decided that I would need another day or two to film Corey again. This time however, Chelsey would be a part of the filming process. As she was not able to be present the last time I filmed. I discussed with Corey and Chelsey what days work for them, a few days ago. Chelsey stated that she would be available and Wednesday and Thursday. Corey stated that from Monday through Thursday he would be available. We had previously planned to film again today, Wednesday, December 14th. However, I just finished telling them that Wednesday would not work for me. Due to the fact that I have after-school tutoring for chemistry. I have a chemistry test tomorrow, that I am partially prepared for, and I'm trying to be completely prepared. On a brighter note, I am already planning to film again tomorrow, after school, along with Chelsey and Corey. I will start filming again tomorrow, at around 4:00-4:30 p.m., ...
